Fallen in the Night

Description

She ran into someone she didn't expect to, the only question is, will she rise the next night or not...

Technical and Other Stuff:

Not saying that this is a terribly original concept piece but I had the urge to do a photo manipulation when I found this in my queue for something... just a beautiful image and unique as well as you don't see a lot of poses like this one.

1) So the tricky part was the lighting, as it was a bright lighting ... so I did some darkening on the main image but also added 6 layers of shadows at different points to get the blend I wanted...

2) I wanted to make the model paler so I did a bit of work on paling her skin out, I did a bit of smoothing to accentuate the effect.

3) I wanted to stress the deathly pallor a bit so I added some lipstick, eye makeup, and I turned her jewelery from silver to gold... which I did by zooming in quite a bit so I could do fine work to make it work right.

4) Finally to also accentuate the pallor I colored her hair a bit differently manually, I never get quite the right effect just highlighting an error and twiddling with it... so essentially I painted the hair at low opacity to make it more of goldenish color to blond... to sort of stress her pallor.

5) I added some faded bite marks with a little bruising... still need to perfect that a little bit but it seemed to come out all right :)
I almost added mist to this image, but it seemed like overkill... so I nixed it an effort to self edit :)

Maybe an oldie, but very good! Superb composition work to get the background and model to match and I like what you did with the model's skin and hair. That must have taken a lot of time, but it came out great!
