Wish Gone Wrong I

Sarah's first two wishes to be rich and famous were relatively safe, however, when she made her third wish "I wish to be musical" she left the Genie a little to much room interpretation ... now she was rich, famous, and a golden harp

Technical:

1) I cleaned up the skin as the image was a bit grainy. I did this by using the heal tool on her skin to clean it up and then multiple layers to increase the resolution/detail.

2) I added color to her eyes and lips, the eyes I did a separate layer and a touch of gaussian blur. Then I adjusted the opacity.

3) I created the golden harp separately and merging it into the work... still some work on the strings perhaps. In general though it turned out okay. To make them golden I desaturated the combined image and applied a golden gradient.

4) The vapor trail was my standard technique of utilizing the blur tool judiciously to create the effect.


EDIT: Updated the vapor trail for the genie a bit as well as flipping the orientation of the lamp. I believe I will be replacing the lamp with another one I like better... but it was a bit of an editing task... given the complexity of the actual lamp
